How to grow 4c/natural hair?

4C/NATURAL HAIR
How to grow 4c? 4c hair is a type of hair texture and a curl pattern. Growing 4c hair takes time and patients because it’s very fragile. In order to grow 4c hair you need to buy natural hair products, Wear protective hair styles and moisturize your hair.
Natural hair products are a big thing in growing 4c hair because our hair gets dry really fast. You can use Alikay Naturals products, Cantu Shea Butter products, Shea moisture products etc…..Just make sure you read the ingredients to see if it’s all natural. Also oils are really good for your hair. You can use Jojoba oil, Coconut oil, Castor oil, Extra Virgin oil etc….. The whole point is to use ALL NATURAL HAIR PRODUCTS!
Wearing protective hairstyles can also help grow your 4c hair. It helps you from putting your hands in your hair all the time. Choose styles that do not require much combing or brushing to maintain and hairstyles that is too tight. For example you can wear box braids, updos, twists, mini braids, goddess braids, etc…..If you don’t want to braid your hair all the time, you can do twist outs, braid outs and you can flat iron your hair but I suggest you to do not flat iron your hair cause that’s not a protective hairstyle and the heat can damage your hair. And if you do flat iron your hair do it at least once or twice a year.
Lastly, you HAVE to moisturize your hair, with any natural hair products and wash your hair. You have to moisturize your hair at least twice a week, with you natural hair products. Also you have to make sure your hair is clean, it doesn’t really matter what shampoo or conditioner you use. It’s very good to deep condition or co-wash your hair more than you shampoo your hair because shampoo removes the natural oils in your hair.
In summation, 4c/natural hair is a really beautiful curl pattern and texture. You can do many pretty hairstyles with it. At times it can be hard to have patience and to make sure you moisturize your hair but it’s all worth it at the end.

  1. You seem to be well-rounded on the topic. Can you show us some pictures of what 4c hair looks like and some products we can use?

  2. Hey I believe that all types of hair should be moisturized, not just 4c. How many types of hair are there? How do you know the different types of hair, do you have a picture of the different textures?
